Shill Bidding Suspects Pay $475,000 in restitution
Ezra Dweck and EMH Group agreed to pay $475,000 in restitution and penalties for allegedly bidding
on own auctions to drive up the price. According to the New York Attorney Generals office, employees of EMH Group placed more
than 232,000 such bids worth some $US5 million over about a one-year period. eBay Investigators brought the case to the attention
of the attorney general's office and aided in the investigation over a period of several months.

Always check the sellers feedback. If the seller has a very high feedback score then it's almost impossible to not have
one or 2 negative feedback remarks. If the seller has a low feedback score and has one or more negative feedback remarks left
I recommend being cautious.
Always check their shipping and handling methods.
Always check their payment methods. A lot of sellers except paypal only and some do not at all. Each seller is different.
Check when payment is to be expected by. They usually have a limited amount of days to make payment before they relist
the item and may leave you a negative feedback.
Check to see if they use tracking numbers with shipping. This can be very useful for you to track your item.
Don't hesitate to e-mail the seller with any questions you have before you bid/buy the item.
Check to see if the seller has a return policy.
As an avid E-bay seller I must note here. Please don't be so quick to leave a negative feedback. If you are unstaisfied
for any reason contact the seller. If the seller refuses to satisfy you or help in any way then a negative feedback is justified
but 9 times out of 10 the seller doesn't want a negative feedback and will try to satisfy you, that is at least I will.
:-). Unfortunately I have a few negative feedbacks and I'm not happy about it. One was certainly un called for and the other
few I was trying to work with them to satisfy them but I just wasn't given the chance.
